I'm going to use the tow truck parts from the Datsun Monster Truck kit on this 65 Chevy Truck.I cut a piece of tread plate for the bed and I am stripping the chrome off the wheels.This will be a rusty beater.

I'm kind of going for a "back yard" "shade tree mechanic" type tow truck.Not sure which tires and wheels I want to use.I'm leaning more towards the stock tires and wheels because of the theme I am going for.Here are mock ups of both options

I think the 5spoke alloys with goodyear trackers look best.

Thanks Guys,I will be using the 5 spoke wheels and Good Year tires.I stripped the chrome and painted them white and they will have some rust.I'm going to spray dull clear over the truck and ad lighter rust in some spots.The longer you let the Iron Metallic Surfacer dry before using the Rust Antiquing Solution the darker the rust will be.Here is what I have so far.

Thanks Guys! Still more to go but here is some progress.I added a pulley so the cable would go up and then out to the boom.I also made the amber light.
