I've scrapped models because I couldn't clean up the windows. I've got a glue-bomb '68 Roadrunner that I'm trying to decide if it can be saved, depending on the 'glass'

Loved your tutorial about repairing glass, as I have a few windshields that need some tlc due to either tire burn or glue. I do have a request for another tutorial, if someone is up to the challenge. I have a few kits that I have bought that I thought would be easily broken apart and rebuilt only to find that the glue is not giving, not a glue bomb per say but just not breaking apart from freezing it. Would it be possible to do a tutorial on basics of restoring a kit like this, if it is at all possible to restore one in such condition?

How are you freezing it ? are you freezing it then thawing it then refreezing again then thawing , you have to do it a bunch of times and let it sit in the freezer for a while then just start very easy prying it apart.......sometimes you can use 99% alcohol on some of the joints and that will loosen the glue.   |
