I don't know how many of you guys get CAR and DRIVER Magazine, but they are holding their annual Readers' 10Best contest. One of the categories is 10Best Model-Car Collections.
Taken directly from the magazine:
It says: "Here's a chance to show off those miniature cars you keep on a shelf. We don't want stories of how your mother or wife got tired of dusting your 'toys' and sold them at a garage sale for 25 cents apiece- we want to see high-quality photos of your mini-fleet"
Here's the rules: "Entries must be received by October 15, 2007. All written submissions should be limited to two pages, double spaced (or about 400 words). If you are sending a photo by snail-mail, write your name and address GENTLY on the back. High-resolution JPEG, TIFF, or GIF digital pictures can be e-mailed. On the outside of your envelope or in the subject line of your e-mail, identify the category you are entering. And remember, we can't send you a prize if we don't have your full name and mailing address (please include phone number and/or e-mail address)."
"MAIL ENTRIES TO: Car and Driver 10Best Contest [name of category] 2002 Hogback Road Ann Arbor, MI 48105"
"SEND E-MAIL ENTRIES TO: CD10Best@CARandDRIVER.com"
There are a few other categories also, like: 10Best Things Found by a Significant Other In, On or Around Your Vehicle (and the Subsequent Explaination)
10Best Cell Phone Stories
10Best Valet-Parking Stories
10Best Automotive Uses of Duct Tape AND
10Best "Just Married" Cars
[If you want more info on the categories above, PM me and I will send you the description written in the magazine.]
