Today my club hosted a make & take through IPMS at a local library through the summer program. 40 kids signed up with a waiting list! ;D I took the 20 k-2nd graders and two of my club members had the 20 3rd-6th grade kids. Fortunately there were volunteer kids to help out with the younger ones. I was very amazed at how engrossed my young group were in the project. No fits, temper tantrums or that stuff, and they helped each other out really well too. The only issue was a bad wing mold in one of the airplane kits. All 8 of them had it. Next year if we do it, we'll bring super glue. LOLOL Here's a link to pics from my group of kids - s22.photobucket.com/albums/b349/mhoekstra/IPMS%20Make%20and%20Take%202011/

Great stuff Mike. Four State Modelers club in Joplin, Mo is trying to do a Make and Take for the kids of Jolpin. Kits are ready to go , but finding a venue has proven to be a challenge.

IF you have one, check with your local public library if they have a community room of sorts. A local church is also a place of use
