well i finally finished something!! my 'puter has been on the fritz and i have been busy on my 1-1's but, i managed to get some modeling done. this was my favorite street roadster back in the '60's drag days. i always thought i would like to build one in 1-1. the problem is it's a '28 chevy. not very common body to find. i thought maybe i could make a reasonable copy of one out of a '29 ford. i put a '32 cowl on Model A body, narrowed the doors 2 inches and the bottom of the body had to shortened up 2 inches too. i raised the fenders also. it's close enough for me. i bought a '29 ford roadster in 'glass and a '32 cowl about 10 years ago and will try to build one of these to race in the anra open wheel class i race my battam in. and yes i know Drag City Casting makes this already. i have one. this was to see how it would look if i build one in 1-1.
