How about this.....two models completed within the same week!! Although the Camaro is complete, I am going to post a few pics every day or so. No need in rushing. This is a Snap-tite style kit. It is very simplified. This kit was one of my slump busters. I did not bother doing anything to the chassis. Didn't even prime it. The interior has very little detail. You'll see some pics of it later.

I cleaned up the body and re-scribed all of the panel lines. I had bought a used can of Tamiya gold for a $1.00 and thought I would give it a try. I also purchased another can of used paint, but more on that later... ;D It may be hard to see but I laid some black paint down in the panel lines. I will call it pre-shading.

I mentioned earlier that I bought a used can of Tamiya gold spray paint. I also had some Tamiya Lime Green. Here is what happens when you use them both on the same car It has been cleared with Tamiya clear. Because this was a slump buster and the clear laid down darn near perfectly, it has not and will not be rubbed out. It is sometimes hard to capture the look of the paint. Lighting makes all of the difference. These pics were taken before I started using Brian's, (Monoped), photo tips. The first pic was taken outside. The next two inside. One thing I am happy about. You can really see the panel lines. The black paint that I laid in them for "pre-shading" really made a difference!

Next up are a couple of pictures of the interior. Not much to say. It is very simple. Put the seats together, add the steering wheel to the dash and snap in the door panels. I was going to do a two-tone color scheme for the interior, even started to mask the seats. But hey, this is a slump buster so basic gray it is! The only thing to add to the body are the mirrors. No type of reflective material is in the kit so I added BMF.

I believe you can consider your slump officially busted! ;D ;D It was the purchase of a paint booth that really got me going again. This Camaro has been in paint since Feb. 2011. I just want to say thank you again to all who posted the nice comments. These also keep me pumped up to get down to the modeling bench ;D.
