hello recently got hold of a 1967 a100 dodge van body made of resin did not realize how much trimming and sanding these resin parts need. wow i had to cut off almost a 1/4 inch off the back of my doner floor pan just so it would lay flat in the body the outside of the body is mint as can be ,but the inside ,is butt ugly . i will not give up i need to finish this kit i will post pix soon

That is not tupical of all. You get what you pay for. Try something from Modelhaus, Missing Link Resin or someone similar and you'll find quite a difference. Always good to at least see a pic of the resin in question before putting your money down if at all possible!

Working with a resin body is not like building a kit at all. There are going to be new skills that need to be mastered along the way. You are right some of the bodies out there need a ton of work and some need very little.
