Hi Gang, Here is a Trivia Question about 1965 Mustangs. What Model of the 1965 Ford Mustang is the rarest to find ?? I know the answer and good luck on your quess. John

I am not sure, but my best guess would be the Playboy Bunny Cars there was only 12 of them built, one for each playmate of the month. They were all Pink with White trim. That's my guess.

din't they call the 64 1/2 mustang a 1965. a 64 1/2 would be rare.

Didn't they make some Shelby Mustangs for Hertz? I guess that would be my guess.

Buck, there were 50 68 1/2 Mustang GT's made and 20 of those were lightweight's and 8 were for the Ford Drag Team but that was 68, I'm looking for the 65 Mustang.

That's the PROTOTYPE not factory production, was made by Carol Shellby. The real answer is;
1965 Mustang Conv. With a BENCH SEAT !! 28 of them made by Ford with the benchseat , there where 167 Coupe's made with a bench seat. The Bench seat was dropped in 1968 for lack of orders. Who would want a Mustang with a bench seat any way let alone in a conv. John
