I haven't had a lot of building time lately, so I figured a little "straight out of the box" kit review project might be something I could get finished in short order. This is the Revell '70 Boss 302 Mustang, built box stock. the ONLY added detail is the tire lettering. This is an awesome kit and pretty much fell together. The only real issue I can find is the somewhat innaccurate interior (the dash and seats are for the optional deluxe interior, but the door panels are for the standard interior). The nosepiece was sort of a finicky fit, but I assembled this directly by the instructions, attaching it after the body was painted and mounted to the chassis. It might have been better to attach it first. I had concerns about the stripe decals on the hood...I never thought they would lay down over the hood contours, but they worked suprisingly well. Just take your time and carefully work out all the bubbles and wrinkles. Paint is Medium Lime Metallic by Scalefinishes. Great kit, fun to build! I need a few more of these!
