Driver Dan Wheldon died at today's Las Vegas race, his car went airborne during a 15 car accident and hit the fence which caused unsurvivable injuries, as stated by IndyCar CEO Randy Bernard. In his honor, IndyCar, the drivers, and team owners ended the race and took a five lap salute around the track. A sad way to end the season, but I have to say that the drivers did an honorable thing.

It's always sad when someone dies while racing no matter what type it is, they honored him with respect.

i watches that races on tv i justhad afeeling that somethingwas going to happenand it wasverysad to see some one to losed therelife nomaterhow muchthey come out with all that safestuff for the racesdriver there allwayssome happenit was atruely sad day
