I resisted as long as possible...everybody was either building this one or singing it's praises...so with 40 % off coupon in hand I went to Michaels. This is actually a very nice kit for what it is, don't like the tires...but with some cotton stuffed in them, they aren't to bad. I obviously couldn't leave well enough alone, so I stretched the frame, scratch built full rear fenders and rear light bar. I used "Jolee's jewels" for the stop/tail/marker lights (check Michaels in the jewelery section, there is a lot of neat stuff there to use on trucks) I also added the lights on the back of the sleeper by using tiny grommets/ eyelets with sun catcher crystals melted in them (once again, wandering around Michaels can turn up all sorts of stuff!!!! I also scratch built the sun visor, covered it in BMF and made the bumper guides. Color is Testors Classic white and Sublime....I like the green, but it definitely needs to be toned down by making it a two tone. Attachments:

That is a gook looking truck! I enjoy seeing the big rigs. I just wish there was a better selection. Just think if we only had a dozen or so car model kits available....you have showed why these kits are popular, they can be built a number of different ways.
