This is my latest build. Started with 2 IH 4300's then begin to cut and hack. Lengthened the frame to take the double sleeper, the third fuel tank and a lift axle. Plumbed the air lines on all 3 rear axles, and scratch uilt the lift axle using Peterbilt air bags, brake chambers from one of the extra IH axles and Plastruct. Next, I used the sleepers from both kits to build the double bunk, converting it from a crawl through to a walk-thru. The combination Headache rack and fenders was built using sheet styrene and Plastruct diamond plate. The rear bumper and the frame around the headache rack were made from Plastruct square tube and channel. The lights are "Jolee's Jewels" from Michael's. Other details include: accurate detailed, "Ox Blood" Eagle interior, acorn nuts from "Scale Hardware" on the front wheels, antennas, wide load flags made from paper towels and white glue, trailer air/ electric lines, rolled up tarp strapped on fender and chain binders from KFS. Colors are all Testors Laquers and striping tape. Attachments:
