For those that use a dehydrator I have a couple questions.
What type do you have? Did you modify it in any way for models?

Bobby, I don't think will help much but here goes. Mine was given to me after I told a friend about how modelers use them to dry paint. Nice guy! There is no brand name on the unit. It does not have a thermostat. Just plug it in. It has 5 stackable trays. It has adjustable vents on the lid. I leave all 5 trays in. This keeps the parts as far away from the heating element as possible. I have not modified it in any way. I have never measured the temp. I've not had one problem with plastic parts, paint or glue, (never tried resin). I am fairly anal so I check the parts frequently. I move them around in the tray, i.e., from inner to outer edge.

I have one that I got in Kmart.Same 5 trays ,with a temp control. I cut out 3 of the trays to put in larger parts. The temps , I set at 120 degrees. Lacquers the same, only the time in the can is shorter. I used it to heat resin parts, to straighten them ,but never to cure paint. Pail

Bobby, I use a Nesco that I picked up at Wally world. Bought 5 extra trays for it to get bodys in while still on the stand. The nesco unit has 5 different heat settings. i normally use 95-115 degrees for all paints.
