'57 Chevy 150 Utility Sedan

... this model was constructed for a club '57 Chevy build ....... rather than build the usual gasser, hotrod, or custom, I chose to replicate an original from the day ... As a youngster I worked in a large Texaco station and saw quite a few of these 150 utility sedans (in fact my dad's company supplied a couple of his adjuster's these cars) ....... and I never saw one with a V-8 ..... I knew the V-8's were offered but I never saw one

The build is from a Revell Black Widow kit and was modified to hold a 235 cu.in. Blue Flame 6-cylinder from Ron Royston at Early Years Resin

... corrected the decals ....... forgot to remove the "V" on the hood & trunk ....... the "V" signified a V-8 car

Corrected another omission .......... Texas requires a front license plate ......... and yes, I know the stickers should only be on the rear plate, but I don't control the decals ;D

This one is great! Love the six, and you are right....most of the low dollar sedans had the six, whether it was 55, 56, or 57s. I can almost hear it running.
