Wow, that's awesome. Do these people actually use them or just put them on disply?

Wow, that's awesome. Do these people actually use them or just put them on disply? Both. And make their friend's jealous too. LOLOL This is the fourth piece I've done for the same customer. I use a 2k automotive clear so it withstands daily abuse and handling. I truly want them to be used. Another customer I sprayed a Ken Block themed one for wrote me back stating how well it's holding up. It's tedious sometimes but well worth it when people use the stuff and are very happy when you present them with the finished product. I'm working on a Resident Evil themed Wii zapper presently for a co-worker.

How much do you usually charge? I doubt you would be able to charge enough to cover your time.

How much do you usually charge? I doubt you would be able to charge enough to cover your time. I charge what's fair to me and what's fair to a person's pocket book. $50 starting, and up depending on how detailed the paint scheme is. This particular controller would be a $120 job and I probably have 20 hours in to it, so not even minimum wage really. Then there's masking materials, paint, the clear coat, etc. If someone wants the LED color swapped out, that's $15 extra for shipping the circuit board to get done. I've swapped out buttons for bullet casings, that's extra also. I've got a few others on my web page that I've done for people that are simpler or equally as tedious. I'm doing a Wii zapper gun for a guy presently with a Resident Evil theme.
