Binary Robot

This is a programmable binary robot that I have been meaning to get done for a robotics club. Nothing fancy (maybe the equivalent of an intermediate snap kit), but you can make program disc paper copies and fill in the sections with a pencil or pen. This makes for a lot of programming fun going around obstacles and such. You can also change the gearing.

How do you control it?

Once you turn the robot on with the switch (there is no separate controller), the paper disc on the top rotates from the gearing. A sensor reads the paper disc that you have shaded in and runs the commands - For example, two blank sections=both wheel motors off, two shaded sections=both motors on(forward), one shaded and one blank=one wheel motor on (right or left turn).
