Have a prob here that I could use some help with~ Got the camaro body paintwork complete and it looked terrific! BUT, within minutes after I laid on the first clearcoat it began to bubble and pitt like something I've never imagined in my worst nightmare! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, in a panic I instantly sprayed it with easy off and bagged it for a day. Now what I have is like a crispy hard- surface of the moon- finish on it! Anyone (anyone) have any suggestion as to what I can soak this disaster in at this point to get it stripped back to the plastic? It's bad! Thanks in advance guys~

I use CSC. Get it at Walmart. It's cheap and works well. Some guys use Brake fluid. I like to use something I can dump down the drain when done. I know that some people are using the "Dawn Power Degreaser". This is supposed to work fast. I have been looking for a bottle of it to try it but so far haven't found any.

was the basecoat lacquer, urethane or something else? was it a paint with seperate catalyst? what clear was used? did the pitting go into the basecoat or was it just in the clear? since i only use lacquer and urethane for my paint jobs i might be able to pin point the problem with this information.
