By the way I'm Jim I live about 100 miles SE of Columbus, Racine is a small town on the Ohio River.
Just wondering if there are any others here from my neck of the woods? I will be working / staying in the Clarksburg, WV area next month and if anyone knows of hobby shops up there please let me know.

Photo of me at work, taken a couple years back. I am standing on top of the 4th tallest chimney or smokestack in the U.S. 1,102 feet tall at the AEP Mountaineer Power Plant in New Haven,WV. That's my hometown of Racine.Ohio in the background on left. Attachments:

Welcome to TMM Jim! You are in luck. There are some great truck builders on TMM. Check out Hunter's 2011 Model of the Year at the top of this site.
There are a number of us on this board located in the Clarksburg area. Myself and Bobby, (who owns this board), are just a few miles from there. We have members of this board in Fairmont and Morgantown too. There is a small hobby shop in Bridgeport which is right next to Clarksburg. There was a great shop in Fairmont that is unfortunately closed. You will have to let us know when you get in the area.

Thanks John, As a matter of fact I am going to be working at Shinnston next month for the up coming outage. There are 3 of us looking for a place to stay up there that is reasonable priced. Last time I was there was 10 years ago and then we stayed in a rooming house in Lumberport.
