Could anyone tell me what glue works best to attach pre-wired distributor wires to the engine itself?? I've tried model glue and super glue both with not good results.. Thanks.

I am surprised that super glue did not work. Model glue won't because it is designed to bond styrene. Do you have super glue accelerator, also known as kicker? That might help. I know Gary K. had some plug wire boots made from silicon that absolutely would not stay in place. Nothing held them. Maybe you could roughen the end of the plug wires up with sandpaper. Maybe try 5-minute epoxy.
Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

I was told to drill a small hole in the block and put the wire in the hole then a drop of glue will hold it.. And it worked!!!

Drilling the hole like billyt said is the way to do it. I did 50 wires that size on my rig model and it works great when you drill the hole for it. After I drill the hole I squeez a little super glue on the wire while i have the end of the wire in the tube of glue just to get it on good. By putting the wire in the glue 1st before you put it in the hole allows you to have glue on it and not hal to try and fit a tube of glue in a tight area where your wire is going. But don't drill you hole to big or it won't work as good! Drill a hole so the wire is snug almost tight. Hope that helps!

When ever I use wire for anything I always drill a hole for it to go in. I put some Super Glue on an old business card and dip the end of the wire in it then put it in the hole. The holes I drill are about 2 or 3 thousands bigger than the wire. From .013 to .025 is the range.
