hey ive seen some foil work that is just insane , i would like to to give it a try so 1st where can i get it 2nd what kind do i get 3rd how does it go on the model ? a couple different makers of foil..................bare metal foil hands down is the best to work with. bmf takes a lot of practice to get right. it's base has to be perfect as any imperfection will show through. it's not very good for compound curves, it will do it but takes practice. i use it on trim and other smaller areas, big areas will lose the effect. bare metal foil can be bought directly from them. they keep fresh stock so most times it's good. if it shows up with wrinkles or small cracks in it......send it back to them, they will replace it for you. as for installing it........check out you tube, there you will find some good demos on how to install it. here is the link for bmf.................................. www.bare-metal.com/

I get my Bare Metal Foil from Model Express. They charge 6.50 per sheet and only $3.00 for shipping.
Do use a brand new, sharp #11 blade. Even a slightly used blade makes it so much harder.
