Hi Guys! Hopefully I'm back on line . I have been off the board for two months. Just lost the modeling desire. I've checked in, not signed in, every now and then but didn't really look at much. The funny thing is that I did this exact same thing last year. Same time of the year and same length of time. What's up with that?? I think I go hard during the winter and then we have the 24 hour build and I slack off after that. Then NNL East gets me going again. Looks like a pattern to me ;D.

Time to check out the posts from the last two months. Looks like you all have been busy!

Isn't it the way things go........as soon as I try to get back on track here, my computer dies. Had to take it to a repair shop. I got it back a couple of days ago. Now I have to get caught up again!

John i know what your talking about i havent had any desire to build either i've pulled some stalled projects no luck and even thought about starting a new on as if i need another even thought about building a quick snap kit no paint or nothing to see if that would help didnt try it but i know it'll change just hope soon

I think we all go through slumps. The way I look at it is "it's a hobby not a job. If I am not enjoying it then I do something else. It is not my main thing to be building models" But at the same time I stay active in the modeling community both on line and at events. So all this sounds normal to me.

Me too John! I got promoted back in December. When that happened, I did not have a truck to go to, so I travelled to a different truck every day. By the time I loaded my fire gear, bed roll, and the usual stuff I carry to work I had no room for the model stuff. Got my own truck in March, but we have been so busy I have not had any free time at the station. Took my stuff one time, but never had the chance to bring it in! Been working on some stuff here at home, so hopefully I will have something to post here soon.
