finally got the beetle pick up finished and this is going to be my next long term project ;D started this tonight filled the chassis rails, the top half the firewall removed from the body and joined to the chassis for a better fit will post more pics as they come  |

If I remember, there were 2 versions, one stock and one rally. I wanted the rally one, but never found it except at retail price. I'll be watching as a "dream build" takes shape! Thanks so much!

just a quick update had a break from the chassis and started on the engine, a few fitment issues but nothing a little filler and sanding couldnt sort out.  |

We'll (or wheel?) see how they fit and look. To me, the wide no-sidewall tires belong on racers, not street cars. However, that's a common look now and I'll get used to it...eventually. Thanx for good pix and good subject matter.

the wheels came from an autoart lamboghini diecast retail about 500 dollars but i got just the wheels from ebay for 20 dollars a steal me thinks
