So I got this kit in pretty bad shape with a horrible brushed on paint job from eBay. Ive been working on getting rid of most of the paint best I could. Then I go fit the body to the fenders...turns out they don't go together. There is a big gap on both sides next to each rear fender.... I already painted the parts So I figured I would for this Then I got to thinking....I can fix this... So here's where I'm at Here's what it SHOULD look like once i finish the body work That's more like it. More to come....

Heres a quick update Well the mods didn't work out so I'm going without fenders. I changed the the tires and rims too. Do the rear tires look too far back??

Good start - I think that is a good move to do without the fenders. Keep it going, and thanks for your progress pics. I like your second choice of wheels. They do look a tad too far back by looking at the fender curvature compared to the wheel, but maybe you can fanagle the body back some without having to get in to more frame work?

FYI that's not a 32 Ford body. It's a 33-34. The fenders are from AMT 32 Ford though, as is the frame.

that second wheel choice was a good call- looks very natural on that setup. Yeah, the rear wheels seem to be a little too far back, but surely you can just tinker around with it and get the body sitting further back to line it all up. Looks great so far btw!
