4x4 truck in progress

First 4x4 truck for me. Well here goes.

Kit: Restoration of the Mad Mudder kit
Color: Boyd Lime Pearl over a flat black base.

I don't have a set vision for this one yet. So far I've spent most of my time sanding off paint and glue. Windows were on with lots and lots of glue from previous owner. Got it to where I'm comfortable and layer the black base. A few coats of Boyd's Lime Pearl and here's where we're at.





So many ideas on this one. Here are a few running through my mind:
- sheriff truck
- forest ranger vehicle
- monster truck
- 17 year old's 4x4 rec vehicle
- beach cruiser with surf board included

Thinking about trying my hand at mud all over....

Here's an update on this one. Starting to circle around to some of the older builds. Worked a little more on the engine. Here's a mock up.
