Hello everyone,

I've been checking out this site for a while now and finally got around to becoming a member. It's good to see so many enthusiastic modellers who are all so inviting and willing to share their invaluable advice and tips. I have really enjoyed seeing all the pics that everyone has submitted, and will have a few of my own in due time. I recently finished a #48 Lowe's Jimmie Johnson NASCAR model that my wife bought me a few years ago, and it has been an absolute blast getting back into the hobby. I am currently working on a '69 GTX that I have chopped up so much that I am left with no choice but to do a fair bit of scratchbuilding and I am shooting for a HEMI powered pro mod/stock style dragster. I am certain there will be many progress pics as this build progresses. I also just received 3 additional models for my birthday and have been brainstorming ideas for them as well..........(whew!!!!!!). Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and sharing our enjoyment of this great hobby.

The hobby has grown and the web offers so much in help and products, regional conventions/shows bring new life. From box stock to anything modified there's something for everyone in all skill levels.
