Here's what I've got on the bench at the moment. Unfortunately it came without decals so it won't be as colourful as the example on the box. The bodyshell has been sprayed with Humbrol Baltic Blue. The interior is nearly finished. The chassis is complete and the engine has been fitted. The front panel is a single chrome piece so I painted the lights silver and the grille matt black. I'm hoping to have it finished in the next couple of days as it's due to appear at a show over the weekend.

Somebody on the web did a tutorial on detailing the Int. Harv. Scout, which is similar in purpose. Yours, I like the treaded tires, is a good and not often seen model. Most interesting and good interior!

Looks like a cool kit. I have never built an Airfix kit. Are they good? How would you rate them against other manufactures?

It is a repop of the MPC kit. Quite a few of them came out with Airfix branding in the early 80s.

If I didn't have so many other Jeep projects started that is one I would be looking for.
