I have also purchased several of these "V-Twins" and are so pleased with the crisp molds and the lack of flash and most importantly mold lines that I would put them on the same level as Tamiya's bikes! The most recient purchase was the Ultra Classic and WOW! Not only is this kit a like new mold the addition of a INNER FARING is a major plus and all the "tins" are updated. The frame, engine, and suspension are shared with the Road King, but still like new. Can anyone tell yet that I am excited about these "Harley's.
Just to touch on the chopper post the aformentioned poster of the Japanese cuties is an add for Vibes motorcycle mag. The addition of the custom parts for different versions comes from Imia's attemped to market to the U.S. stereotype. They did several kits like this but, never made it to the U.S. that I am aware of. I have 3 of these kits and their very cool.
Now if anyone is thinking of trying one of these kits,RUN RUN RUN, to your local dealer and order all of them. Dragon models have several available now. If you like or just want to try a bike model this is a good place to go.
Oh yeah, not only do the tires say Bad Year the H-D logo's are Handyman, David & Son. A MNF comeon man to Harley make the licensing afforable. Or just make them on the PC.
Highly Recommeded, Jon (hogrider)
