Hey everyone,
OI received my second place prize package in the mail today and wanted to say Thanks to Bobby for hosting the contest and a Really Big Thank You to all that voted for my truck. I built that truck for two contests the one here which got a second place and another that is held at the Puyallup Goodguys each year. The truck won first place there. Then it was traded away to another builder. That is the idea on the contest is nobody leaves with the build they came with. I got an excellent 1941 Chevy Truck build by "Floyd". This truck went to "Dave". I will leave it at that because some people don't like having their name on the Internet.
I know I haven't been around much. I fell off a ladder last August and broke my heel into 3 pieces. So that was a big deal. I had to have surgery to put it back together. 3 pins, 2 metal plates and 8 screws later it's a done deal. The recovery took longer than I thought it would. It's really been all I could do to keep up with my Model Forum. Glad I have a great staff at ZMC. They really kept it going until I was able to get back. So I was finally released from the surgeon last Monday. It still hurts a little but at least I can get back to doing what I was doing. Now I hope to get caught up at some of the forums I used to haunt.
