This is the new commission job I just got today. It was a sealed unbuilt mint kit he got off of E-Bay. Here is the kit. And here is the pic of what I hope to accomplish.

It shouldn't be a problem duplicating it. Nice to see a genuine oldie still out there. I wonder if a "promo" is out there more easily (and cheaply) available. Anyway, good luck. The chrome trim may be hard.

The first color coat had some dust in it, so I wet sanded it out, and repainted a 2nd coat. Nice, and smooth now.

Got the B-M done on it. Playing with some different tires. The client wants stock, but I can play a little.

I think I've seen a reissue of this car. Didn't pick it up. Now I want one even more. She's lookin good! I haven't seen the convertible reissue. I know the hardtop was out. I have a original built hdtp in my collection. They were the old craftsman kits. No motor s in them. Used to sell for $1.39, back in the day.

It's finished. Made a shifter on the column from a pin. Also turn signal lever. A little touch up to do yet, but I'll call it done.

Happy to report the client was extremely satisfied with the build. I ended up cuting the interior into 3 pieces to be able to get the color scheme done right. Talk about nerve racking cutting that up.
Also I managed to talk him out of the box, and left over parts. I have a 63 Ford PU original issue built up that the left over parts will be used on.
