Your work is so good, it's unbelievable. Did you make or find an aftermarket supplier for the wheel/tire combo? Accessories like ladders and lights, do you make them too? Last, the decal (?) striping fits so well, how'd ja do THAT? Truly fine craftsmanship, thank you!

Thanks for the kind word's harron68, Let's see, the wheels and tire are from an Italeri opel blitz kit that I had that was a complete junker. The ladders and some of the fire equipment come out of the AMT LaFrance kits, I scratch build my own lights . The decal lettering come's from some Chimneyville St.Louis F.D. sheets, each letter cut out and applied to the truck one letter at a time. The gold leaf style stripes are from the ALF decal sheet, just cut up to fit this truck. I consider myself to be more of a 'kit basher' than scratch builder. The body work I do is really very basic, I just feed off of what the 'kit' gives me.

Once again I have looked at all of the gorgeous builds you have posted in this section and will just post a reply here. I particularly like this one and especially like the story behind it. You truly create some beautiful models and now that you are here on TMM I hope that you will post pictures of your work-in-progress.
Thanks for taking the time to post all of the pictures and writing up the descriptions.
