By looking at the photos, it looks like there were more models at this show than last year. I wasn't able to make it this year. I went to the Cleveland Model Show 11 instead. I was hoping that the shows would have been on different weekends, but no such luck. With limited shows in the tri-state area, maybe someone should look into organizing dates so that there are no conflictions. Most of the shows are listed many months in advance, but it seems that the Pittsburgh area shows pop up on the calendar, just a few months in advance. In my effort to keep my fellow model builders up to date on local shows, here is a list of a few upcoming: 1/18/2008 Free Swap Meet 3North Sharon Volunteer Fire Hall 469 Thornton Avenue Sharon, PA Shenango Valley Area Scale Modelers - IPMS/USA www.angelfire.com/wizard/svasm/index.html2/16/2008 2008 Blizzard Con Aladdin Shrine Center 3850 Stelzer Rd Columbus, OH www.ipmscolumbus.org/3/29/2008 TRI ConA.W. The show was excellent this year, however they did run out of room in the model display area. They had over 450 models and was their largest turnout in years. They are moving next year to a nearby Community College that has more display area to accomodate the models and people. No damage was caused to any models during this show, so I wish you would reconsider. Please provide more information on the shows that you mentioned.
