1956 Chevrolet 150

This started out as the Monogram 1956 210. I was working on the 1957 150 (Black Widow) and decided to do the 1956 version. The side chrome is the main visual difference along with the lack of chrome trim on the side windows. The two tone paint and large hubcaps were options on the real car.













The license plate is a "Congressional Medal of Honor" special issue plate.

Interesting choice. We've seen the 2-tone b&w '57 Chevy, but not a '56. It's O.K. I'll have to check the Web to see what other color combos the 1956s came in. Interesting, thanx!!

The color should be onyx black and crocus yellow. I thought the yellow was to bright, so I used the Sierra gold. So, it is factory colors, but not a factory combination. Thanks for the comment.
