I will play this month. This was a fun little build. I wanted to do something "over-the-top" and this is what I came up with. The name "Pimp-L" comes from three things. It is a take on those goofy rapper names. Also, when I look at the, (at that time in history), New Beetle, I think it looks like a pimple. Last of all it looks like a pimp mobile Flip-flop paint and Scale Motorsports decals. A lot of work and time went into those decals.
Since bugs are so small I ended up with two in the pictures One a Revell Champion Spark Bug from about 1968 that still needs a header installed and the other a Revell Beetle that I made into a Baja Bug like the one I was driving at the time. Many changes to the body and chassis to make it work. And a picture where their cousin, the comedian, sneaked in...
Your little man (with suspenders) has the same "stunned" look as I had when I saw the car and interior. Unreal!!!! Thanks, my smile will last all night!
