Who knew that VW built a supercar? Ok, I cheated a bit, this is a die cast, but I just had to have it to go on the VW parking shelf. I totally took this one apart, detailed it and re-assembled it to my standards for a model. The paint is factory, I didn't paint the body. (I know there is a die cast section and you may want to move this, but I thought It was a good VW thread, too.) For more pics and some history check this one out on my site. themodelcollection.proboards.com/

I will admit it, I don't think I've ever heard of this before. I even Googled it to make sure it was real...lol. Looks like a nice car. Your model looks good too!

Thank you! I had thought of posting this one for April Fools day, but since it was real, I couldn't do it. If you want to look another rare one, try the Pagani Zonta.

There was a large VW sedan with what I think they called a "W-12" engine, may have been the Phaeton, and I saw 1 or 2. The exotic car idea makes for a draw at car shows to sell the "regular guy or gal" cars and SUVs. Thanx for a truly different one!
