hello all, i hope someone can help me out, i just wet sanded a pro stock bodie and i sanded through the paint in a couple of spots. do i have to strip the whole body or can i give it another wet coat then clear again? any help would be great, thanks

I would sand it down just a bit more all over. Then hit the just the bad spots with paint. Then wet coat the entire body again.

If you didn't go through the primer you should be able to blend it back in with layers. The hard part will be losing the edge where you sanded through - a lighter background color like gray primer against blue for example. As you paint over the gray, the blue will build like your original color, but as that color builds up on the blue it will continue to get darker and you will see a color contrast where the edge is. You can try blend it in with multiple layers but it will take some time. Color is also a factor. Some colors blend well and others don't. Depending on the color you may or may not end up repainting the whole car.
