My niece wanted a build of one of my Dad's pickups. The one she wanted no body made a version of but I told her I can do this one. With all of them I have in stock, this idea never occurred to me before.

H.O. is nice in that there are many vehicles. The down side is a lack of "realism" often. I'm happy you found something to honor the memory of times past.

Nice build and display. I try to never use the word "little" to describe a model, like "nice little model" because some people would be upset to hear it called little. In this case since it is 1/87 I can honestly say very nice little model.
I did some 1/87 back when I was in to trains and built a truckstop model for the local club layout. So I do appreciate this scale.

Point taken. Little is a relative term and I was using it only in terms of size, not necessarily quality. In that scale with many vehicles from many manufacturers proportion and detail quality varied greatly. I know, too what you mean about using them in an H.O. train display. I've seen a number of fantastic layouts with vehicles, buildings and scenery, etc. Thanx again for what makes for a personal display.
