This is the Revell Kit #1217 Austin-Healey 100-6. It's the 1996 reissue of the original tooling from 1959. I posted about this on Spotlight board and figured I would share here as well. It's basically box stock painted with Rustoleum light blue, it was a recent amnesty project after finding it hidden away in a cabinet in my house. Not an easy kit to build, and if you decide to get one try to get a Revell of Germany issue which has much nicer chrome and molded crisper with less flash.

Nice build!!!! I like seeing these older kits built and reading the comments about the build being harder. It makes me appreciate the newer kits that go together so well.

Yes, the separate sides and other weak spots (basic look on some parts) makes for a challenge, but these days we can work miracles with plastic. Done carefully it can be a great model. Thanx for finishing a true oldie.

Awesome! Didn't even know they had a recent issue of the Austin Healey.
