I purchased from Arrowhead Aluminun products in late August items for my CBP build. As of yet, nearly 3 months later I have received nothing. I've emailed them several times to either send my items or refund my money to no avail. They contacted me around 10/3/06 to tell me that my Paypal payment had no address for me, so I emailed the info and haven't heard from them since. I've used Paypal well over 200 times and have never had this problem except the 2 times I delt w/Arrowhead. At least the first time I did receive my purchased item after 1 1/2 mo. Too bad because Arrowhead had several items that I was very interested in eventhough they were very pricey. I won't be spending money with them now and I recommend that you pass them by as well. All links to their website have been removed from my website, I suggest others do the same.

Just to let everyone know, I was finally contacted by Arrowhead after posting my message to this board. I should have done that earlier. It seems that word gets around on this board. AGAIN they said they needed my address with major additude. After sending my address 2 more times, maybe I will receive my purchased items. I'll keep everyone posted.

I saw Duane today. I saw him about a month ago too. Alot of people don't know this, but he is going through chemo-therapy to beat some tumors on his spine. If you have seen him in person he weighs about 160lbs and walks with a cane. He is so weak he fell asleep at the swapmeet today and looks very tired. I don't want this to come across as a plea for sympathy. Suzan his wife is pretty much pulling the heavy end of the load right now. They have a bunch of orders they are behind on, but they will not cheat anyone. Another thing alot of people don't know is they make their parts as they are ordered, simply because they don't have the time to make a stock pile since they are filling orders to keep up. He has some of my parts for almost a year now that he is going to cast, but has not had the time. They are opening a hobby shop so they will not have to travel to shows to make their money. Today he told me that his web site has not been updated in a long time, but they are building a new one. If anyone needs to reach them, here is some contact info. Sounds like they should stop taking new orders until they are caught up??? At least when the best Resin guys had some problems he shut his site down and keeps it updated with info on when he will be back. That does suck for Duane, but quit taking orders if you can't fill them in a timely fashion. Business will wait if you handle it with integrity. If you promise and do not deliver you won't get the business back. I hope the Drews get peoples stuff to them because they do seem like decent people shooting themselves in the foot. Just my 2 cents. Yes the TMM force is great. Help them OB pad Kanobe.

Thanks for the info Bob. I agree if they are having problems quit taking orders. I wish them the best just as I do Best Resins. Just for the fact that they make stuff you can't find anywhere else.
Long live the TMM Force.

I hear you, but all I asked for the past 3 months was communication. I'm a sympathetic guy, just let me know. Don't make it seem like it's my fault that I didn't get my stuff. Just tell it like it is. Give me the chance to decide to change my mind and cancel. Don't just keep me waiting and then have an attitude when I make a complaint. Alex.

Alex, i hear ya. i felt the same way. they have some of my parts and i emailed them like crazy. when i saw them in person it felt better and i donno if ya met him before, but he will always look ya in the eye when he talks which tells me he is genuine. i dont blame you for the way you feel at all. i just wanted to let everyone know part of the reason they are behind. if they are seeing the emails, i agree...a response would be nice.

im not saying you were accusing people of anything, i was making a very VAGUE statement about people flaming other people on lists or boards....as a matter of fact i did agree with you.....i was just making a generalized statement about flaming, not putting you on the spot, i apologize if it was taken any other way.....but i also wanted to let you know what he has on his plate at this time....again, trying to give you the whole picture....and not just of one about no communication......which i can understand both parties....adam

Thought I'd put my two cents in, my condolences to the proprioter with his cancer, I didn't know about his condition. I had been warned about Arrowhwead by several other modelers but continued to buy over e-bay. 5-7 weeks delivery time was typical but always received the product eventually. Have an order coming now. Hope everything works out alright!

On Nov. 19, I posted that the people at Arrowhead finally contacted me about my purchased items and said that they would be sent immediately. Well 2 months later and nearly 5 months since the order was placed, I've gotten absolutely nothing. When the lady from Arrowhead finally emailed me, again she said she needed my address. After sending it to them 3 MORE TIMES, I still got nothing. No explanation, no product, no refund, not even an excuse.

Just to let everyone know, I still haven't received my items from Arrowhead. It's been nearly TEN MONTHS!!. At first they had excuses but now they don't even pretend to care. They don't return my emails and they still haven't refunded my money. It's been so long that I don't even remember what I paid for. I've read on other boards where people have had similar experiences. There is NO excuse that anyone could give that will make me understand their behavior.. In my book and obviously in other's they are theives. I've given them many chances to produce and they refused. If you buy from them, do it at your own risk.

Hey all, long time. I've never ordered from AA, but quite a long time ago I e-mailed them about info on certain products (was looking for pics that wouldn't come up on their site) and after weeks & weeks & weeks of no replies, I sent another asking them if they were still in business or closing down shop. A valid question I thought. I finally received quite an arrogant e-mail reply about my impatience!! I was wrong for not waiting a little longer. I was also wrong for NOT knowing they were on the road 13 months out of the year. And the illness-I feel bad for the guy, but if you're going to constantly.....ya know what, I'm gonna sound like an a**hole here, so I'll stop. But 10 months? Come on. That is inexcuseable. Think of me what you want.

Well i have ordered several times from them on e-bay in the last couple of months and have received everything promptly, but i am ordering simple stuff such as distributors. Now that i have read this thread, i will have to think twice because i was gonna go for some more elaborate stuff but i don't want to wait a year for it!

I bought 2 distributors & paid via PayPal on April 2, but I failed to indicate the colors of the caps & wires. After emailing them a few times I got a reply from Susan & she told me of my omission. I replied with the info yet didn't hear anything after a few more emails, so I re-read the auction page & called their number. I couldn't get ahold of them twice but left messages, so I called again this week & talked to her confirming my color choices. So I've received word by email that they've been shipped. It was basically my fault that the delay happened, and I'm glad they're on the way. All I can say is, it's better to call til you get an answer rather than going the email route; it is even suggested on their auction pages. Lastly, try kindness above all; you never know what someone may be going thru. Harold Eaton

It's kinda hard for me to agree with you. I feel it's never the buyers fault to expect an item or at least a reply after paying up front for something. Especially after nearly a year. I think it was pretty kind to purchase from them in the first place. Seems to me you went thru quite a bit yourself and still as of yet, no merchandise. I'm quite familiar wth thier promises. They told me the items were on the way before too. Seven (7) months ago.
