An exercise in old school model building. Out of the box, I didn’t even paint the body or remove any trim. Just washed it, applied decals and put on a coat of Future. One of the door numbers tore on me when being applied, so I used one off another kit sheet and the other one as a trunk number.

Pretty much how it looked. It sat for a time at a suburban Chicago gas station and almost nobody knew of its fame. Thanx for the fotos!

That is a good looking model Gary. I have looked at that kit a couple of times but never picked it up. Looks like a nice kit. Thanks for sharing!

Nice build, Gary! I really like your build style on this one. It is quite enjoyable to build one like this from time to time, and it is good to see someone else sharing those types of builds.
