Hello I haven't been here for a long time I have been recently been told be my doctor that I'm suffering from depression. I am looking to get out of this and asked for help when I went to see him because of pain in my knees we talked and he took some tests , I told him that I've been feeling like this for years and that I didn't want to go thru this anymore there is nothing left but work and the only reason I keep that is because of my bills I. Not trying to bring you all down this is just why I had no interest in being here or doing any of the things I've enjoyed in the past . So many days wasted doing nothing I am reaching for help and hope to get out of this . Thank you for your time Mk

There's no clear road map to good health and happiness. I won't say "we've all been there." I can only say I have been there. Even better now I still have dark periods. Money and friendship troubles can be major causes. As the saying goes, just take it one day at a time. Being around good people helps too, since they share the troubles and can sometimes be a big help. I wish you well, smile when you get the chance and laugh at life's crazy turns.

It is good to have you back Kaqbot! I am sorry to hear about what you have going on right now. I truly hope things turn around for you. Have you been able to build models at all? Maybe starting a new one, making it a simple build, will kick start you to at least have a desire to go to the bench. It may turn out to be one of the bright spots in your day!

Some people very close to me suffer the same thing. For them, the best thing is to try and think about things that make them happy to try to keep their thoughts from returning to what doesn't. I hope that makes sense. If you still enjoy modelling, try to focus on that. if not, find something that does make you happy and try to think about that whenever you can. Just remember, you CAN do it!
