1966 Chevy Nova Show Car

Here's one I just finished for a contest over at Jerrys Cherrys forum. All participating members got the same kit and got to build it however they wanted. I oped for a nice little convertible show car.

The detailing is so well done I think it almost makes it look to easy..you didn't make mistakes!

Very well executed build! The dvd screens in the seatbacks are a very nice touch. How did it do in the contest?

Thanks man. Contest ends at the end of the month so well see how it goes. First part is we sell all the kits on eBay. Highest selling build wins the big prizes. Then members choose on the forum. I'll let you know how it does.

Your skills are as good as any in building models. On this one I have just 2 little comments. Problem one is a lack of flat black on the front of what would be the radiator. The other is the flat black tonneau cover. The cover itself looks too sharp edged and fake (model company's fault). Maybe that's why, unconsciously or deliberately, you picked flat black. I think I'd chosen to either do it as a "hard cover," sanded off the snaps and painted it yellow or...sanded off some of the sharp edges and gone with a less noticeable flat white. That's just my taste. Otherwise, it's one of the nicest versions of the little beauty as I ever saw. Thanx for sharing your skills and fotos!
