I know not too many are interested in die cast, however when this built up truck is taken apart, detailed and rebuilt like a model: it creates a great place to park-the-plastic. I started out with the 1/24 Jada die cast truck. I took it totally apart to repaint and detail. This is how it looked right out of the box: A little TLC and I ended up with this: The decals were custom made for my truck fleet I am building. Finally a family photo. the Lonestar was the first of the fleet. It is an excellent Moebius plastic kit.

More cool models from Robert! That rollback looks great. You are right, what a cool place to park another model.

Great job, Robert! I have seen those wreckers, but not picked one up, yet. Reworking diecasts is a fun process, and this one makes for a great display for other models, or even a diorama. Keep up the good work!
