Another really old model of mine that has managed to survive the years. I used two of the ancient AMT 36 Ford Coupe/Roadster kits for this one. I think I started this one when I was about 14 or 15 too, but cant remember if I finished it then or later on. I cant for the life of me remember where the Halibrand wheels came from, but I do remember the slant back portion being made from the bottom of the box. Paint is dark metallic blue under that crazy layer of dust. The top is the reason for the two kits. It took two of the coupe roofs the make the sedan. My dad has owned one of these in 1:1 since 1970.

Nice old project. I enjoy getting the old ones out and giving them a good cleaning and thinking about the time I built them.

Great work! It's a shame folks don't know how much work can go into a model. It has the look of the '37 sedan that has come out since then. I saw in a model mag yrs. ago how to do a "bustle back" or "humpback" sedan. They had a lump behind where suitcases could go vertically. Fotos showed the steps, work and patience it took. Thanx for sharing this nice job.
