"Normal" turnaround time, it seems...is app. 6 weeks to get anything in resin from the resin suppliers.
:Grow up" sounds like a poor return e-mail to me. I would have to think twice about buying anything else from them.

I would agree but I think if your going to place a item on e-bay you should already have it cast or the time frame in descreption . Swampy

My sentiments exactly! A friend of mine had exactly the same problem, with the same seller. I wouldn't order anything from them.
The one I had problems with is called Reliable Resin. Same scenario. Bought the items off eBay, took weeks to get because of the weather causing problems with casting due to humidity. Responses to my inquiries started out pleasant, then got more rude as time went by. They do nice work, and they have some items I'd like to have, but I'll never order from them again.

I consider Matt a good friend of mine and I know that he would never shaft anyone that bought items from him. What many people don't realize is that most resin casters (myself not included) have regular day-jobs and sometimes an order gets lost in the fray. I agree that 39 days is a bit extreme but I am positive that Matt had his reasons, if indeed this is who you ordered you body from.
As a resin caster, I can tell you that if there is ever a problem with any order that I receive, that I will be the one that contacts the customer first (not the other way around). Customer service is paramount in my book. If an order gets delayed too long, I usually add some freebies. Just my way of doing business.

I agree. I had the same problem with Arrowhead Aluminum when I purchased items from them. All I got was excuses, delays and no merchandise or refund. They won't even respond to my emails now. I lost money and time.

ACTIONS!!!!!!! Always speak louder than words Good or Bad In this case, I have heard enough about both of these charactures that I will not invest my time and money with them. Hence! the reason I invested in some reading material, resin and rubber and with some practice I am now capable of making most of the parts I need for myself - Its my hobby !!! I not goina let a few money grubbin, No count irresponsible folks make me miserable or take my money.
I encourage others to invest in your own talents and gifts Resin casting is achievable
Go for it

I agree with you Craig. Unfortunately I barely have time for building, let alone casting. I just have to be more careful with whom I deal with. By the way I still would love the plans for that tow truck that you have.

And, as far as his stuff being nice, apparently you haven't bought anyting from Perry's Resin. Randy's stuff is cast as thin as injection molded pieces. To the others posting about time spans, 30 days is Quick in most cases, Perry's usually takes from 3 to 6 months to get, but if you know that upfront it doesn't matter. I'm the most impatient person I know, and I hate waiting for parts, but I know I'm not getting my stuff in a week. Just order well in advance of your projected finish date and all will be fine. Chuck
