Hi Bountyhunter! Yes, there is going to be another 24 hour build for 2015. It will start at noon on January 24th and end at noon on the 25th. What has happened is the 24 hour build has grown from a small group of buddies to its current size at about the same time Facebook took off. The build photos were hosted on Gary Kulchock's Fotki account, which he still has and has links to just about everyone else's builds. People have started posting everything on FB the last couple of years. If you have FB, look up "Annual 24hr Build". You can join the group. You can also go to Fotki, do a member search and look up Gary Kulchock. If you look at his albums, you will need to scroll to the bottom. There you will find all 8 previous 24 hour builds. I am happy to say that I am one of the founding members of the current 24 hour build. We did not come up with the idea, but Gary has taken it to the level it is now at!
I think it is perfectly cool for anyone who wants to, to put their 24 hour builds in this thread.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Bountyhunter, glad to hear that it looks like you are in this year! I hear you about the coffee and energy drinks, I do both myself. I have a 45 minute drive to Gary Kulchock's house. By the time I wake up and pack up, get to Gary's to set up, do 24 hours, break down the bench and drive back home, unpack and catch up with my family, I will have been up around 30 to 32 hours. I take a nap from about 3:00PM to 6:00PM, get up to get a bite and then crash for a good long night's sleep. I tend to take Monday off to put away all of my gear from the build. If you get a chance, check out Gary's Fotki site. You should see the spread we put out for 5-6 guys. Gary's wife makes an amazing breakfast for us!!!
Bountyhunter, do you have any one to build with? Having 5 or 6 guys makes a big difference. We all keep each other going.
I will more than likely post pictures, (after the build), of my model. I have always tried to keep the spirit of the build, and that is to start a brand new kit and COMPLETE it in 24 hours. I normally come very close.

to be honest Nacho no I don't. don't wanna sound selfish but I prefer it that way. once Im focused on a project I can go to town on it. don't need distractions or nothing. besides, the family will be asleep and I got the WHOLE downstairs to myself then. coffee, monster drinks, and heavy metal will keep me going!
