This is a project that has been in the works for a long time. I have recently been making progress on it. Started with an AMT Kenworth COE tractor that I built back in the 80s. I decided I wanted a heavy wrecker in the fleet. tried a failed attempt at a scratch built wrecker body. Later I acquired the bed from the AMT Pete wrecker. With some cutting it could fit the COE frame. Some paint and added details. Modified some lift cylinders for the boom and some scratch built winches.

I saw this at another forum, it's clever. Not sure on whether the "sleeper" portion fits, but the rest looks really cool. Recently I saw one of the full size big wreckers with the rear boom hinged and folded into a vertical position. There's always something new coming up.

This looks like a pretty cool project, Dan. It is coming along nicely.
