Hello to everyone at the Mad Modeller! I want to take a minute to update everyone on what is going on with this forum.
David Sullivan, (fireguy14), and myself, (John Brolin, aka Nacho Z), are going to swap positions here on the board. David stepped up to the plate and took over from Bobby Boggs, the creator of this board in October 2014. If he had not done so, this board very well may not exist today. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to David for doing this. David cared enough for this board to give of his time and energy so that we could continue to have a friendly, no-drama model board.
My work life has slowed down a bit which allows me to have a little more free time to focus on this board, a board that I have said many times is my "home" board. This is the first modeling board I had ever joined and the board where I share all of my work, good or bad. Of all of the boards that I frequent, this is by far the friendliest.
Don't expect a lot of changes, as I like the board the way it is. I will do my best to keep it updated. I am open to suggestions but reserve the right to agree to disagree with them.  Let me know what you would like to see, what you like or don't like. What you would add or delete. After all this is not my board but yours. I am just the housekeeper, trying to keep it neat and tidy for my guests.
All I ask in return is that the members of this forum PARTICIPATE! Take a few seconds and log in. Comment on your fellow member's posts. Participate in the Model of the Month. Vote for the Model of the Month. Post what you are working on. For new members, show us some of your older models that we may not have seen yet. PARTICIPATE! |

John, I know you will do a great job. As some know, an intense family issue consumed much of my time back in mid November. While I was honored to be able to keep the board going, I just did not have the time to dedicate to the board. Very glad John has been able to take the helm.

I have removed the TMM chat room section. It has not been used in nearly a decade. Not once. When I tried the provided link, it did not work.

Just a quick update. I am heading out tomorrow for a quick trip back home to visit a very sick relative. When I get back I will be getting some "training" on how to do a few things to update the Model of the Month and Model of the Year pictures at the top of the board. I'll be checking in while I am back home. I'm still open to new ideas for the board. Let me know what you are thinking!

WooHoo!!! After a bit of a struggle, I have figured out how to upload pictures to the global header. I also learned how to use the Paint program and logged into my Photobucket account for the first time in a long time. I will do my best to keep up on keeping the latest Model of the Month posted at the top of the page. For those of you who have won but did not get your picture posted, I apologize. I like the idea that Fireguy14 had of having an area to post each MoM. I will work on doing that.
Thanks for everyone's patience as I work on getting the board back up to speed. The board will only be as good as its members and their participation. So please, take a minute to tell us what you are up to. Post pictures of what you are working on or your latest completion. I look forward to hearing from you!
