I see the (always missing ON 1/25 scale) generator support arm on the engine, so I'm guessing it's a large scale kit. In any case, your work so far is very well done. Keep us all posted on the progress.

Hi Harron68, this kit is 1/25 scale. This generator holder detail also caught my attention, because never has this details in the kits of this scale. To all who are following the assembly, please have a little patience because I'm having problems with body paint, have painted three times and I have to remove the painting again. Below photos of the painted body, but I will paint again.

Sorry to hear that you are having paint problems. What is going wrong with your paint? It sure looks good in your photographs.

Hello friends I think now I could paint, varnish and polish the 57, let the photos of the fourth attempt to car paint. -Body already polished. -Already applied paint aluminum trim finish. -Time to paint the engine bay made a small mistake and painted black wall cuts fire, then went to see my references and I realized that the wall cuts fire is the color of the body, but is quiet to fix. For now is that, is assembling is already all set missing only end the body to close the car, and not wait to finish this car and go for next. Rodrigo Maia

After a long time without news, finally an update of the project -One detail that I wanted to do is red line of the wheels. -For to do this in the best possible way I decreases the diameter of the hubcaps and sanded until they are as thin as possible. -Then I worked in an old set of wheels for the hubcaps fit inside.I used these wheels because they were the unique of the same diameter that I had available at the time. The wheels for me does not matter because the hubcap will be fixed. I did so only to facilitate painting the details. Wheel rim in red and chrome hubcaps same as above picture. -Four wheels and hubcaps ready for painting. -Chassis assembly. -Sanded and adjusted fittings of all parts to be chromed. -For now ready to paint the chrome parts. I want to thank everyone who is following the assembly and comments. I have a little difficulty to assemble cars of this period because of the amount of detail and chrome parts. But slowly the car is taking shape. Thanks for watching Rodrigo Maia

Looking real nice. And I agree the amount of chrome can be overwhelming at times. From the looks of what you have done so far tho I'm sure you can handle it.
