The subject line says it all. What time of the year do you do the most model building?
For me, it is late fall, winter and early spring. I am able to paint inside, as I have a paint booth, so cold weather is not a problem. I know that some of you paint as many bodies as possible in the summer and then do everything else in the winter. I find that I have too much to do outside, both work and fun, during the summer. I just don't get a lot of model building done in the summer.
Let's hear your thoughts!

With 3 young boys and having just started a new business I struggle to find any time lately to spend on my hobbies.

I would have to say, based on the board traffic, that Summer time is not peak building time. There has been very little postings lately. Here in WV, we are having our first cool weekend of the season. We are back up to the 80s for the upcoming week, but I think we are going to start cooling off. That will be my signal to head on down to the workbench.

Time...what is this TIME you speak of? After 67.5 hours of work this week...I know not of this time you speak of...
I probably get the most done in the Fall and Spring. It's almost too cold in the winter in my basement, I have to run a space heater to keep warm and between it and everything else shoddily plugged into 1950s electrical I have to forgo having the laptop at the bench...which should probably make me more able to focus, but I lose the ability to have reference photos at hand.
