December 2015 Model of the Month

For December, let's do a Christmas theme. If you have a red or green model, please enter it. This does not have to be just cars. Plenty of other things that are red and/or green. Planes and tanks come to mind. Post up to four photos along with a description of what it is and any extra work you did to it.  No past winning models.  Good luck!

I will part with my Revell Ferrari Superamerica.
Improved some details, I added some PE and Ferrari badges are silicone in high relief.

I have a "green" entry ........... Tim Beebe and John Mulligan's "Fighting Irish" fuel dragster ......... winner of the 1969 Winternationals .......... this build used the correct body panels and rear wheels from Comp Resins, along with a correct Hilborn 4-port injector and scoop also from Comp Resins. The magneto was moved to the rear of the block and the valve covers were changed to the "392" style ..... the candy green paint was custom mixed using Cobracolors lacquers and the decals came from Slixx
